Tennis Cake
This cake was for an end of the year party for a tennis team. It was also one of the players birtday!
Engagement Cake
This cake was for Karli and Jonathan's engagement party! They are such a sweet couple - it was my engagement gift to them! I thought the cake turned out great!
1st Communion Cake
This cake was for 3 sweet girls - Regan, Megan and Katie for their 1st communion celebration. My friend, Kristin, wanted each girl to be able to take home a cupcake so I did some with the girls' initials on them. So cute!

Carter's 8th Birthday Cake
My sweet baby is growing up! He loves the Minnesota Vikings and requested a football jersey cake. This was a hard cake to do - it is decorated with all buttercream icing. I tried to talk him into fondant, but he loves frosting and wouldn't settle for anything else! :)

Making cakes....
Decorating cakes is one of my passions in life! I have basically taught myself and with each new cake, I experiment, fail, succeed, and learn. I love the creativity that goes into a cake - it is truly an art. A cake is a blank canvas that can be made into anything the heart desires. Whether it's a unappetizing trout or a beautiful 5-tier wedding cake covered in delicate handmade orchids, cakes are an outward expression of ideas and artistry. If that isn't enough, not only are cakes a feast for the eyes, they are a feast in itself!
