Making cakes....
Decorating cakes is one of my passions in life! I have basically taught myself and with each new cake, I experiment, fail, succeed, and learn. I love the creativity that goes into a cake - it is truly an art. A cake is a blank canvas that can be made into anything the heart desires. Whether it's a unappetizing trout or a beautiful 5-tier wedding cake covered in delicate handmade orchids, cakes are an outward expression of ideas and artistry. If that isn't enough, not only are cakes a feast for the eyes, they are a feast in itself!

Definitely a feast! Karen baked and decorated the basket of flowers for me. It was as delicious as beautiful. Way to go, Karen. You are creative and have a special touch with details. It was fun to see your slideshow of cakes. Yum! Love you, Jane
